Seasons Greetings Everyone !

Its your favorite Dick here. Just a quick reminder from the Ugly headquarters about New Years Eve. The boys will be ringing in the New Year at Abbeydell in French Lick. This will be a great night to get out and get started on that New Years resolution to party with Ugly Early more often. Just in case you haven't heard, this place is huge and they are expecting 300-400 people so you may want to call and get a reservation. The number is 812-936-3388. We will be sharing the night with our very good friends in the Crossroads band so you will be getting 2 bands for the price of one this year………..Merry belated Christmas !

The night will start with the Crossroads band taking the stage at 8:00 and playing until 10:30. Then we will change out equipment and the Ugliest show on earth will take the stage as soon as set up is complete. At midnight we will pause for a toast and for all of the women to tongue kiss me…….(yeah you read that right) LOL Then the party will continue on until the wee hours.

And since your New Years resolution is to party with Ugly Early more often…………

Well, things are pretty hectic at the Ugly headquaters with all of the planning and preparing for the biggest New Years Eve bash in southern Indiana so……….I better get back to testing all the party horns (now that's funny). I hope everyone had a great Christmas ! Oh, and I almost forgot……ask me to tell you the story about my mistletoe belt buckle J I will see everyone this Monday night for one crazy party !!! Its Dick again, here to spread some holiday cheer ! (yeah right) It has been brought to my attention that a few of you bitch when I don't write a newsletter, so here ya go……….happy now ? I guess I didn't realize what a profound impact my incredible sense of humor has on your lives. So how was everyones Thanksgiving ? Mine was great, thank you. I did notice this year that I didn't hear any cheesy Thanksgiving jokes from Mike, so I guess he must have used all his giblet gravy jokes last year (Thank God) He did however tell me that If I grew a beard that I would look like Santa Claus which pisses me off. So…….I'll tell you what Mike…….how about if I hold a bunch of mistletoe over my jolly ass and you can just kiss away.

In other related holiday news………the band will be having their Christmas party at Ronnies house this year and he has agreed to deep fry a turkey which means that the band will be short a member until a replacement turkey can be found. (damn that's funny)

Well if you missed the Roosters show, it was a blast as usual. The evening was started out with a rockin' performance by Hutch (Seafood Bucket>>> THE FIRST XBOX BAND) and friends (including yours truly) on the new Rockstar video game. Then the Ugly boys took the stage and rocked the house ! The dance floor had plenty of little chickies shakin' a tail feather and I think I figured out why they named the place 'Roosters' …………
Cause my rooster liked what was happening on the dance floor ! Woo-Hoo !!! Eric has promised to get some pics to me to post on the web site just as soon as he finishes polishing his bottle cap collection (hahaha)

The next display of holiday Ugly-ness will be this Saturday night at the Eagles club. This will be open to the public……..I repeat, you do not have to be a member of the club to get in this Saturday. The last time we played there it was a packed house and they say people are still talking about it. This place has the lowest cover charge and lowest drink prices in town. So if you don't come then hopefully Santa will bring you a clue for Christmas. (man I'm funny)

Greetings Everyone !

Its your favorite Dick here (seriously). It seems like forever since our last one sided conversation, but you must understand that once you reach my level of stardom there's not really time for such boring tasks as writing a newsletter. But don't think for a minute that its because you're not important to me. I love you all as much as my left nut. (now that's funny !) I'm just a busy guy so try to enjoy what time we have together.

Well, Thanksgiving is upon us once again which means that its time for a couple of my favorite activities…………..stuffing the turkey and fondling the giblets. LOL Speaking of turkeys, the guys have been having some great shows. If you haven't been checking the website on a regular basis then you are really missing out. There are some great pics on there ! I think there's even one of Jeff when he's not drinking. (damn that's funny).

Anyway, this Saturday will be the first show for us at ' Roosters' in Bloomington, which used to be known as 'Legends'. It is now under new ownership and has been totally renovated. I've heard that it is really cool inside now and totally new ! Also, we've had a ton of people say that they will be coming to this show just because its smoke free ! Personally, I like to smoke so you all can just kiss my……….giblets

No Newsletter....Not necessary.....

Its your favorite Dick here (seriously). With another quick newsletter considering my busy schedule and some excellent news. All the ladies should be glad to know I am finally back and will be running the show once again. Its a miracle the guys even pulled it off without me but sometimes the guys even surprise me. The last show went exceptionally well I am told. By the pictures that were posted the placed looked packed wall to wall. Mr. Ronnie Minton did superb and the guys are exceptionally happy.
As far as this weekend goes; the Ugliest Show on earth will be arriving back to Olde Downtown Tavern in Bedford for a two night fun filled rock-n-roll circus. FRIDAY AUG 31 and Saturday Sept 1 2007 so be there both nights. And yes I will be available for pictures once again. Here is our upcoming schedule.

Hey its your pal Dick (seriously),

Just a real quick email letting you know that the ugliest show on earth will be arriving in Linton Indiana at the N Zone this Saturday Night. I for one am sad to announce I will not be there because of prior engagements (seriously). But have no fear, with Hutch at the helm the show should be just as awesome as the Abydell show. BTW...The pics are posted....you know where to go.

We also would like to welcome Mr. Ronnie Minton aboard as the keeper of time and wish Brian Christian and Andrea Fiedler the best in all future endeavors.

Its Dick again (Seriously),

Making time with another Newsletter almost a week ahead of time! Believe it or not the guys gave me an extra $12.fiddy to post this in a timely fashion so bear with me. The big news is that UGLY EARLY will be playing DJ's Abydell Lounge this Saturday night (AUG 4th) along with the CROSSROADS and DALE & JEFF w/ Andrea between the two SuperPowers. With that said, it should be an awesome night of music starting at 7:30. Word is that Abydells will be serving food most of the night as well. Guess a Taco bar is out of the question huh? Make sure you get there in time to see all 3 groups, plus I will be giving free group hugs.
Anyway the show at Rusty's was an outstanding Success...............you should of been there........Pictures are posted here, all had a great time...........

Hey All its Dick (Seriously),
Sorry so late on another newsletter but right now I have been so busy I just dont have time to mess with it. Last show in Jasper was awesome and some of the guys finally figured out what band they are playing in. Pictures are posted (you know where to go by now) and of course dont forget about RUSTY's Tonight (Saturday)~~~The Ugliest Show on Earth will be playing on the Deck in the Beer garden. Hello again everyone,

Its your favorite Dick here (seriously). This will be a very brief newsletter because of so many demands for my time. Its not easy to be as popular as I am but I guess that someone has to do it. I had no idea that I would become so famous, but hanging around with rock stars has really made a big difference in my social life.............(I really hope your not believeing all this BS) haha Anyway, summer is here and I'm lovin it ! This hot weather means that you girls are wearing less clothes and I have felt so inspired lately that I'm thinking about writing a song.

Well the last show at Olde Downtown was very cool. Thanks to all of you that came out to party with us and live life to the fullest !!! The pictures are up on the website so check em out. And don't worry if you don't see yourself, because there's always next time. hehehe. Speaking of next time...............The Ugly circus will be bringing these clowns to "Rusty's" in Bedford this Saturday night. The band will be playing outside in the beer garden if weather permits. If for some reason it rains then the show will be moved inside. So just plan on coming not matter what !

And now for the big announcement...............Ugly Early will be introducing the newest addition to their spectacular clan of muscians. Thats right boyz and gurlz, Andrea Fiedler will be performing with the Uglys for the very first time this Saturday night ! With the addition of Andrea, the band will be adding some very cool danceable chic songs as well as adding additional vocals and instruments to their existing set list. This will be a show that you don't want to miss ! So come on out and show Andrea a big Ugly welcome and buy her and the guys a shot or 2 or 3 or 6 or 7or......

Hello again everyone!

It’s your pal Dick again (seriously). It seems like I just sent a newsletter less then a week ago, and I suppose that’s because I did, huh ? Lucky for me that you all never get tired of my incredibly awesome sense of humor. Well the warm weather has yielded yet another favorite past time for me........Sorority car washes. I think that these must be a gift to men sent directly from God. While driving around this Saturday, I saw her, standing there in her daisy dukes and swimsuit top holding the car wash sign. Little did I know that I would spend the majority of my day with her friends? For $20 I got my car washed 4 times and derived great pleasure from the view. Somehow though they still didn't get my car clean. Oh well, that’s still a lot cheaper then dialing 1-900-sexyboobs. (Now that’s funny !)

The pictures are up from the Seymour show and the band would like to extend a big thank you to those of you that made the trip over to party with us. Luckily, this time the people that got drunk and fell down weren't members of the band. hahaha. There was another guest appearance by the world famous Allan Hackney and the band was joined on stage for several songs by Andrea Fiedler who will soon be a permanent fixture in the Uglies. Not only can this girl play and sing, but she's not too hard on the eyes either so make sure you keep your eyes open for her in the near future.

This week’s display of extreme Ugly-ness will be this Saturday night at the critically acclaimed Olde Downtown tavern in Bedford. I won't even bother telling you what a cool place this is to play because I know that you've been there before and if you haven't then I'd say its about time that you stopped being un-cool and get your ass in there to check this place out. Not only is this place really cool, but also Ugly Early will be playing there this Saturday........Nuff said, just be there. And now for my next trick, watch me pull a rabbit out of my..............

Well, I have regained some feeling in my lower extremities so I think its time to go look for another one of those displays of hot wet flesh, and I'm talking about one of those sorority car washes, not an Ugly Early show. hahaha. Hello everyone,

Its Dick again (seriously). Once again it is time for me to entertain you with my wit and wisdom (and maybe a little BS). This newsletter may be a little shorter than usual due to time constraints. It seems as though I have become a pretty popular guy and you ladies are occupying so much of my valuable time that I hardly have time to even write a newsletter. Please keep in mind that it is really hard for me to entertain more than 2 of you on any given day even with lots of Gatorade and massive supplements of all the B vitamins. So don't act like a whiney little brat, you'll get your turn because there's plenty of me to go around. After all, my name is Dick, ya know. (Now that’s funny!)

We had yet another wildly successful show at the 7th street lounge. I think everyone in the southern half of the state was there, but the pictures of the show are up on the web site just in case you happen to be a total loser and missed it. As a matter of fact, please reply and let me know if you're one of the few people that missed the show so that I may personally call you a loser. Ha-ha. I am happy to report that the party was amazing and that not a single one of the band members puked or fell down and knocked over bar stools this time. At one point in the night the crowd was sending up shots and chanting for a certain someone to utilize the puke bucket, but he was able to consume all of the shots without tossing even a single cookie!

This weeks Display of professional partying will take place this Saturday night at "On the Rox", in the wild and crazy town of Seymour. If you're familiar with Seymour, it used to be called "Max's Club House". This will be the first trip over there for the guys. We have heard that it is a great place to party so we're gonna go over there and find out ! It is a big place and actually has 2 big bars inside of it. The band will be playing in one room and a DJ will be playing in the other. There is a hotel right down the street and I have heard that it is only $39 for a double occupancy. I will get the name and number of the place so hit me up if you wanna cheap place to pass out. And for more quality entertainment at discount store prices...................

Hello Everyone!

It’s your old pal Dick here (seriously), with some news you can use. (or at least laugh at). haha. Well, I guess the biggest and most shocking news would be that the DNA results are in and I have just been informed that I am the father of Anna Nicole Smiths baby (just kidding). I mean, it is possible because I have spread my seed so far and wide, and when you reach my level all the blondes with big boobs all start to look the same anyway................Is anyone buying this ? Hey, a guy has to dream once in awhile, right? So the hot topic lately has been mushroom hunting. Why would anyone actually take the time to go look for fungus? I have some that I wish I could get rid of! (just kidding again) Ladies, let me save you some time. Come back to the sound board and talk to me and I will tell you where to find the biggest flesh colored mushroom that you have ever seen. (now that’s funny !)

Well the bands last show in Linton was a blast!!! That place was packed to the max and everyone loved the awesome performance of the Ugly guys. You have to check out the pics on the web site to understand what I'm talking about. It was full all the way to the door!!! The guys made a lot of new friends and added a bunch more people to our mailing list. I have heard that since then, we have booked 2 more shows in that place, so I guess those guys must have did something right for once. ha-ha. There must have been some kind of magic in the air because I felt kind of tingly all over all night.......or maybe that was just my medication, who knows. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.

Ok the big news for this weekend is that the band is back in town this Saturday night to rock all your asses at the 7th Street Lounge in Bedford. Notice I said "all your asses", so if you happen to have 2 then make sure that you bring them both. ha-ha. The last time we played there we set an attendance record since the place had opened under its current management. I think I heard that we had way over 200 people in there and it was pretty well packed but I think that we can get a few more in there so why not help us find out? Greetings fellow Uglies….                                                         ( April 03, 2007)

Its Dick here (seriously). Time for some more world news about everyone's favorite band! (For the moment anyway). So how is everyone liking these sunny days? I absolutely love them, but my neighbors absolutely hate them. It seems that they have a problem with the fact that I mowed my yard the other day wearing nothing except a "banana hammock". (Just kidding) I try not to run around naked any more then necessary. Although, thanks to Eric, a picture of my ass crack managed to make it on to our website. The good news for Eric is that he likes steak.......cause he's gonna need one for his eye the next time that I see him.

Well the last show at the Olde Downtown tavern was awesome! It was packed and the hotties were stacked! And I do mean packed and stacked. We might have been able to get a few more people in there, but we would have had to grease their asses and give them a running start. A good time was had by all and we had 3 special guest singers that made an appearance. We had Dale Baker on "Copperhead road" which is always a crowd pleaser, Paco totally rocked the house on "hands to yourself" and "Margaritaville" and Mitchells very own local celebrity, Alan Hackney belted out an awesome version of "I want you to want me". Once again the guys made the local paper. That’s 3 times in the last couple of months.....I guess somebody must actually like these guys. ha-ha. Ok, are ya ready for this weeks big news?.............The Ugliest show on earth rolls into "The N-Zone" in Linton this Saturday night. This will be the first time that the guys have ever played there but we have heard lots of great things about the place. We have heard that The N-Zone is the place to party over there so we are going over to rock the house. We happen to know people in Linton who have been spreading the word around town and we have been promised a good crowd and a great party so sounds to me like it’s on, my peeps. (I've always wanted to say that). If you will be looking to stay the night in Linton we have been told that the best rates in town are at the "Park Inn". I know at least a couple of the guys have plans to stay there. We don't know anything about the Park Inn so if you find some DNA on your sheets don't blame me. But I'm guessing that after the guys stay there we will be able to find a lot of DNA on the sheets. (Now that’s funny!)

So what kind of a friend would I be if I didn't tell you where some of the biggest parties of the coming months would be? Well, you don't have to answer that because I am giving you the scoop because you are all my friends.......and some of you happen to be my breast friends (no, that’s not a typo..haha!)

Well being this funny has left me totally exhausted so I think I'll take a little nap now. Hello again everyone,                                                                (23 March 2007)

Its Dick (seriously) your favorite leprechaun here with news of the Ugliest St Patrick’s day party I've seen in me life! So just how was everyone’s St Patrick’s Day? If you were at the Jasper Inn then I know for a fact that it was awesome like mine! I drank so much green beer that I was peeing green, which wasn't all bad. I have some dead spots in my yard so I went outside and added some color to my lawn, which I thought was a great idea however my neighbors were not amused. And due to a slight mishap I now literally have a green thumb. Ha-ha!!! (Just kidding by the way)

Well, the whole weekend went great and as you can imagine there was a lot of really funny stuff that happened both to the guys in the band and to the crowd. Unfortunately most of it cannot be talked about. (We don't want to incriminate anyone) ha-ha. Saturday night was a packed house and there was a whole lot of St Patrick’s Day pinching going on (Or in some cases I think we should call it "tweaking") Not that I would ever do anything like that :) And of course after the show the party adjourned to the hotel rooms and I'm sure a few memories were made. A big Thank You goes out to everyone that made the trip down to party with us. I'm not sure exactly how many of you there were, but about half the people in the bar were people that we invited which is awesome!

The weekend was topped off by an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction involving yours truly. While loading up the equipment on Sunday morning I had to bend over to pick something up and accidentally showed a little butt cleavage. Now here's the unfortunate part: Mike throws his camera phone to Jeff, who takes the picture and then forwards it to Eric. And now Eric is telling me that he is going to post it on the web site (If I don’t) as the "Happy Ending" photo. The Pictures are Posted here should you really want to look at them…. So I would like to apologize in advance for the immature behavior of these guys (as if they're ever mature) ha-ha. And of course Mike had to add insult to injury by telling me that the picture appeared to be that of a big hairy monster with no teeth..... (Yeah, bite me Mike)

And the big news for this week is that the Ugliest show on earth stops by the Olde Downtown Tavern this Saturday night. That place is always a packed house so we are all totally looking forward to the party. Every time the guys have played there it has just been crazy ! We are expecting a big crowd so make your plans now to come out and have a really good time. And for a whole lot more good times check this out.....

Guess who ???.....yep its me again, your favorite Dick (seriously) with news of all things that are Ugly ! So is everyone ready for St Patricks day ? Many people have been asking me what I can possibly do on St Patricks day that will top the boxers that I wore for Valentines day that had hearts on them.....You know.....the ones that made me walk around all day with a heart on. (man, thats still funny) Well here's the plan : I'm going to get a tattoo of a 4-leaf clover on the inside of my thigh, and that way when I show it you will also see me lucky charms.....(ok are you finished laughing yet ?) When I told Mike of my plan he said "Good one Dick, then people will clearly be able to see you're nuts !"


Well in case you live in a cave or have your head up...(nevermind) and didn't hear about the bands last show at The Seventh Street lounge, I will do my duty (without pay) of informing you of the happenings. It was as crazy and fun as every show the guys play ! The place was packed and the crowd was crazy ! The bar said that was the biggest crowd they have seen since re-opening under the current management. The guys would like to thank everyone that sent shots to them. After the show, one band member fell down and knocked over some bar stools and another one passed out (the happy ending), but I won't mention any names such as (Jeff & Mike)…. If you don't come to see these guys then I guess it’s just because you don't like to have fun. Oh and we would also like to send out a special thank you to the Times-mail for the great write up, they clearly had a blast! This is the second time that the guys have made the local paper. Not too bad for a bunch of.....


Newsflash !!! The St. Patricks day party will be at the Jasper Inn. If you don't go then I don't wanna hear any bitching when you find out about the good time that you missed. Does everyone remember our last trip to Jasper ?......uh huh, thats what I thought. Hello Everyone,                         (Feb. 20th, 2007 Valentines Addition)

Its me again, Dick (seriously) with the latest installment of the life and times of your favorite Kings of Rock-n-Roll.....Ugly Early!!!  I hope that everyone had a great Valentines Day.  To keep with tradition, I wore my red velvet boxers with hearts on them all day........So I guess you could say that I walked around all day with a heart on.  LOL!!!  Is it too early in the newsletter for me to be that funny?  Ok, so does anyone really understand the Valentines day concept of the little naked baby with wings flying around shooting people in the ass with arrows?  (WTF?)  Love will be the last thing on my mind if ever I get shot in the ass with an arrow.....unless you're into that sort of thing. 

Well at this time I would like to inform you all of the latest addition to our web page.  It seems that a lot of people are seeking my wisdom on many topics which I can only guess is because of my intellect and social status.  So, there is now a question and answer section which I have proudly named............ "Dick knows" http://uglyearly.com/DICKKNOWS.aspx  after you catch your breath from laughing I will gladly explain.  No, this is not a reference to a nose shaped like a male sex organ but instead is a highly informative forum where you can ask me anything.....and I do mean anything.  The most popular question is in regards to my ability to have my picture taken with so many beautiful women.  While only the ladies who have had their picture posted on the web site know the whole truth, I will give you a little hint.....The last time it snowed; I went outside and made a 3 legged snow angel.  LOL (now that’s funny!!!)

Ok, so is anyone curious about what the band has been up to?  Well the last show at Downtown was a total blowout as expected and the pictures are on the website for your viewing pleasure.  The place was full and boy did I ever get an eye full.  There were more asses in there then at a Democrat convention.  The show was amazing as always and the crowd response was equally amazing.  And just to show that the guys have a sense of humor, some a**hole started a fight at the end of the night and the band immediately broke into a blistering version of Jailhouse rock.  Oh, and lets not forget that another lucky lady made the website after falling under the spell of my magic mojo. 

This Saturday the guys will rock the house at the Seventh Street Lounge.  Our New Years Eve show there went terrific (check the pics on the web site) and we are expecting a big turn out again this time.  Just in case you haven't been there in a while I am happy to inform you that they have the cheapest drink prices in town.  So don't worry if moneys a little tight this weekend because you won't need quite as much of it......unless you drink as much as we do.  LOL And now here's more dates that you need to add to your busy social schedule for quality entertainment:

Hello everyone,                                       (Jan. 30, 2007)

Its Dick again (seriously) with the latest news and views of your favorite Rock Stars!!!  (Hopefully you know that I'm referring to Ugly Early).......just checking :)  So how have you been since we had our last one-sided conversation?  And Me...Oh, so thoughtful of you to ask.  My life is still rather interesting with this bummed up knee.  I guess I'm going to have to start using more than one crutch since I seem to be spending way too much time walking in circles (just kidding).  You know though, I have been enjoying watching the guys carry in their own equipment.....hahahaha 

Speaking of the band, this past weekend at Jasper almost has me at a loss for words (yeah right).  I'm not sure if its because you all read this newsletter or if its because the guys are actually as cool as they like to think they are (yeah right again), but the word seems to be catching on that this is a great band to go see.  I would guess that about 40-50 people from out of town made the drive and stayed at the hotel to party with us.  The guys would like to extend a big thank you and appreciation to everyone that took the time to drive down and hang out with us.  And a special thank you to Stacey for acting as our communications officer by talking to and relaying directions to everyone. 

Friday night was a lot of fun, but Saturday night......Well, it was just legendary!  Do I need to mention that the place was packed, or have you already figured that part out?  The guys put on a stunning performance that even amazed me!  The crowds dance moves had me hypnotized, I'm saying that there was more skin shakin’ in that place then at a Hooters bar during an earthquake (now that’s funny).  Everyone had a great time and our good friend Shuler the airline pilot almost fell down the steps in a humorous attempt to walk.....I guess this time he flew the friendly stairs.  LOL - (oh man I'm funny).  I have heard that our guitar player Mike now has one more thing to add to his list of reasons of why he thinks he should be famous.  Good job Mike, you da man.

Ok, I need a break from laughing so let’s talk about something else.  Oh yeah, the next big extravaganza.  That would be this Saturday at The Olde Downtown Tavern in Bedford IN.  Most all of you have been there before so I'm guessing that you don't need me to remind you of what a fun place to party it is.  Cool atmosphere, big dance floor, and my personal favorite.....Beer!!!  So make your plans now to get there and party with us and all your other friends this Saturday at Downtown.  And now, as a pubic servant..........I mean public service (he he) I will throw a few dates your way :

From your crippled captain of audio control (uh....sound man with a bum knee).  Yep it’s me again, Dick (seriously) Well I hope the New Year is still treating everyone well, or at least better then it’s been to me.  My knee is still messed up and will require surgery.  But on a more positive note:  I am happy to report that there is now a permanent imprint of my ass on the couch at the JPH (ask me what this means).  Yes ladies, for a small contribution to the band we will allow you to come over and make a plaster cast of that imprint for your personal collection.  Ha-ha.
