The Guys thought this might be a good idea to put stuff where we
really don't have a place such as news articles, mentions, links, and things that UGLY EARLY appreciates.
Oh yea, the legalese just cause we have to do it.......

Everybody’s Talkin’: Wouldn’t it be nice to be in Paoli?
BY MIKE RICKETTS miker@tmnews.com

Following the Beach Boys concert last Friday night at the French Lick Springs Resort, a couple of Paoli fans convinced several members of the Beach Boys — including Mike Love’s son Christian — that the “good vibrations” in Orange County are at Pinky’s Court Street Pub.
Pub owner Mylea Pluris said the women, who will remain unnamed, were going to the concert and she told them to bring back the Beach Boys.
Guess what?
With the exception of singers Love and Bruce Johnston, they did.
The fans came into the pub, and asked if they had to pay cover, Pluris said.
Who?, Pluris asked.
The Beach Boys, the concert-goers responded.
With Dale Baker, Jeff Stevens and Zero (Harold Kendall) more than willing to relinquish their instruments, the Beach Boys band took over the stage and dove into a wide array of rock tunes.
“It was just a great night,” Pluris said. “There were quite a few at the pub and a lot more came in after they took the stage. The word spread fast on cell phones.”
Praising the band members, Pluris said they invited several people at the pub to a private Saturday night performance at the resort.
And at that, things got even better for bartender Amber Richards.
“She got to sing with Beach Boys Mike Love and Bruce Johnston on stage,” Pluris said. “So she’s all excited about that.”
Legion OK'd Saturday Night
Wednesday Sept. 24, 2008 - Jeff Routh, Times-Mail
MITCHELL - About 11 months after a fire destroyed the Cecil C. Martin Post No. 250 of the American Legion, members and friends will gather at the group's new home to continue a 40-plus-year tradition on closing night of the Persimmon Festival.
Even though the building is not complete, the Legion has permission from the state fire marshal to have the event.
Local band Ugly Early will play. Band member Mike James of Mitchell said it plays rock 'n' roll from the 1980s to the present.
The dance will begin at 9 p.m. Saturday and the building will be open at 5 p.m. Cost is $5 per person; members will be admitted for $3 each or $5 per couple. There will be no reserved seating.
The legion is at 404 Sheeks Drive.
